Coast Guard suspends search for missing boater after 3 die HAMPTON, N.H (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard suspended the search for a fisherman on Friday, a day the small boat he had been in was found capsized off the Massachusetts coast and the other three men who had been onboard were found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.The Coast Guard searched nearly 1,600 square miles (4,144 square kilometers) of ocean for the boat and its four passengers, who were reported missing just before midnight Wednesday. It found the boat about 7 miles (11 kilometers) northeast of Cape Ann, Massachusetts.On Friday, it suspended the search for the last of the missing men, Bin “Michael” Cai.On Thursday search crews found 38-year-old Jia Fu Zheng and 43-year-old Daxiao Lin, both of Quincy, Massachusetts, and 42-year-old Jaime Liu, of Litchfield, New Hampshire. (KDVR) -- The Bandimere Speedway, which announced it will be closing at the end of the drag racing season, has a rich history in its 65-year existence including that it wasn't originally planned for that location. The “Safety Proving Grounds of America,” which the Bandimere family said was intended to be a performance park and education center, initially was planned in 1956 to be built in West Denver, now the Arvada area.But according to John Bandimere Jr., after the family got the permits and were about to break ground, the neighbors decided they didn't want the speedway in their quiet neighborhood. Alligator found in NW Miami-Dade warehouse parking lot captured An alligator has been detained after it was found wandering through a warehouse district parking lot.7 Skyforce hovered overhead as a Miami-Dade Police officer responded to the area near 10301 NW 112th Ave., at around 3 p.m., Friday.He was seen tailing it closely with his police SUV until a wrangler arrived.After the wrangler arrived, the alligator went into some bushes, where he snared it with a rope, and the officer helped duct tape the animal’s snout.Before the animal was restrained, a woman was seen coming out of the office, but she soon backed off after noticing the animal. Multiple people rescued from burning building in Winthrop  Multiple people were rescued Friday as flames burned through part of a building in Winthrop, officials said. In all, officials said four people were taken to hospitals after crews used ladders to get people to safety. The conditions of the people who were rescued were unknown as of Friday afternoon. Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Calandra said the fire started in a third floor apartment before spreading to the fourth floor of the building. Cell phone video showed the flames burning, sending smoke rising into the air. Elsewhere, pieces of insulation ended up stuck in nearby trees after the fire response. Calandra said the building had no sprinkler system inside, as it is an old building. Officials said 115 people live in the building. MBTA announces schedule for replacing Blue Line trains with buses overnight Shuttle buses will replace train service on the entire Blue Line on several nights beginning next week, the MBTA announced on Friday. The diversion will be in place beginning at 8 p.m. between April 24 and April 27.
